  • Dr. Don MacRae, DMD

    General Dentist

    Dr. Don MacRae, known better as 'Dr. Don' to his patients, graduated from dental school with his D.M.D degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 1990.

    While practicing in Saskatoon, he also was a part-time faculty member at the College of Dentistry.

    After three years, he and his family moved to the Okanagan to start Peachland Dental Centre in 1993.

  • Dr. Zachary Loomer

    General Dentist

    Dr. Zac is the eldest of 5 siblings and has previously worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the Kelowna Family YMCA. Dr. Zac is always looking out for others and enjoys guiding them through new experiences. His character shines through while working with anxious or younger patients.

    "I always want to provide dentistry in a relaxed, no-pressure environment and I like to fully explain treatment plan proposals so that my patients can make an educated and informed decision regarding their oral health care needs,” says Dr. Zac. “I will always take the time to listen to and understand my patient's concerns, and seek to move forward together with treatment in confidence."

    Dr. Zac has known Dr. Don for over 15 years who has played a big role in inspiring Dr. Zac to pursue dentistry. He is excited to continue his relationship with Dr. Don as both a mentor and a colleague.

  • Dr. Jeffrey Krawchuk, DDS

    General Dentist

    Dr. Krawchuk graduated with his DDS degree in 2009, before moving to the Okanagan in 2011.

    Dr. Jeff is originally from Edmonton, Alberta.

    He attended the University of Alberta where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2009.

    He worked in the Edmonton area for a year and a half before making the move to the Okanagan in February 2011.

  • Dr. Peter Cormillot, DDS

    General Dentist

    After living in Toronto his whole life, Dr. Cormillot moved to the Okanagan and joined Peachland Dental.

    Dr. Peter Cormillot grew up in Toronto and graduated from the dental faculty at the University of Manitoba in 1980.

    After running a successful general and cosmetic esthetic dental practice in Toronto, Dr. Cormillot and his family moved to the Okanagan in 2006 to join Peachland Dental.

  • Dr. Phil Kachanoski, DMD

    General Dentist

    Dr. Phil was born and raised in Yorkton, Saskatchewan where he realized his boyhood dream of playing junior hockey for his home town team the Terriers.

    In 1989, as a newly graduated dentist and Canadian Forces Dental Officer he served in Lahr Germany and then commanded Canadian Forces Dental Detachments in Masset BC and Comox BC until 1998 when Dr Phil and his wife and business partner of 18 years, Sue, moved to Peachland.

    They partnered with Dr. Phil's University of Saskatchewan dental schoolmate Dr. Don MacRae and his wife Kim to build upon the practice they founded as Peachland Dental Centre in 1993. Phil and Sue have raised two great daughters, Rowen and Emma.

    The family enjoys water sports, hiking, biking, travel and volunteering. Dr. Phil is an avid fly fisherman and counts expeditions with his brother to the wild rivers of Labrador chasing Atlantic Salmon as some of his ultimate outdoor experiences.

    Ten years of practicing in the Canadian Forces offered Dr. Phil tremendous training opportunities in oral surgery, crowns, bridges and dentures.

    "Sue and I chose to locate in Peachland because we loved the setting, the community and the people," says Dr. Phil. "Our girls were born and raised here, it is our home, and my practice is all about bringing the finest care I can to Peachland."

  • Dr. Cara Lewis, DMD

    General Dentist

    Dr. Cara Lewis was born and raised in a small town in the heart of the Okanagan. She completed her Bachelor of Science at UBCO, and then made the move to the coast to study Dentistry at the University of British Columbia, where she graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine.

    Dr. Cara has been passionate about Dentistry from an early age, and loves to see her patients smile!

    When Dr. Cara isn’t at the office she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Rodeo, and soaking up the sunshine.

We are located in the Okanagan Valley, on the west side of Okanagan Lake, in the municipality of Peachland. Our dental clinic is easily accessible by public transit, and also offers free on-site parking.
