Early Positive Dental Experiences

Our dental team at Peachland Dental is dedicated to helping children feel at ease during their dental appointments. If we can help them relax during their time with us, this will go a long way to motivating them to maintain excellent oral health today and into adulthood.

We offer a wide selection of dental services for kids in the Okanagan Valley, and we're committed to providing your child with the most positive dental experience possible.

We understand that for many children, going to the dentist can be an intimidating experience, so we strive to keep our office environment inviting, friendly and calm. We will work at your child's pace and are happy to take breaks if they are feeling overwhelmed. We also explain each step of the process as it's happening.

Your Child's First Visit

Babies should first see a dentist after they reach six months old, or at least by their first birthday. By this time, baby's first (primary) teeth are starting to erupt. This marks a critical time for the dentist to catch any problems before they develop into big concerns.

Dental Services for Kids

At Peachland Dental, our services can be tailored to meet your child's oral health needs, and keep their smile healthy.

Preventive Dental Hygiene

Visiting the dentist for regular exams and cleanings when your child is young will help preserve the primary teeth until they are ready to fall out and be replaced by the permanent teeth. During each appointment, we will review proper oral hygiene techniques to ensure your child's smile is getting the proper care at home.

Restorative Dental Services

If your child is at risk of decay, develops a cavity, or is experiencing misalignment issues, your dentist may also recommend restorative treatments such as dental fillings and mouth guards.
